Embraer Executive Jets has delivered two ERJ-145XR Corporate Shuttles to an un-named North American customer.

Embraer has announced that an unnamed corporate flight department has taken delivery of two new Embraer Executive Jets ERJ-145XR Corporate Shuttles for service in North America.

“Both 50-seat aircraft are equipped with new slim seats providing increased legroom, power outlets at each seat, state-of-the-art Gogo Biz wireless internet system and Honeywell Primus Elite avionics,” said Claudio Camelier, vice president Market and Product Strategy, Embraer Executive Jets. “These changes are specifically designed to improve flight operations efficiency and increase cabin comfort and capabilities to ensure passengers have the right environment in which to maintain their productivity or relax. This is a major advance in addressing the corporate shuttle market by offering a modern, efficient and comfortable jet aircraft solution.”

The ERJ-145XR twin jet offers an extended range of 2,000 nautical miles (with 50 passengers and NBAA reserves) and is equipped with winglets and Rolls-Royce AE3007A1E engines for enhanced performance and lower fuel burn and emissions.

“The delivery of these two aircraft is a noteworthy event in that it confirms the importance of shuttle aircraft with corporations looking for ways to further increase employee productivity,” said Bob Knebel, vice president Sales – North America, Embraer Executive Jets. “Over 20 Embraer Corporate Shuttles are in operation worldwide by corporate flight departments that use the airplanes to transport employees between company sites.”
