Embraer delivered 29 executive jets during second quarter 2013
Embraer delivered 29 executive jets in the second quarter 2013 and ended the period with the company's highest backlog value since the third quarter of 2009.
Embraer delivered 29 executive jets in the second quarter 2013 and ended the period with a firm backlog of
$17.1 billion – up $3.8 billion from last year – marking the company’s highest backlog value since the third quarter of 2009.
The 29 business jets deliveries consisted of 23 light jets and six large jets and more specifically, 11 Phenom 100s, 12 Phenom 300s, five Legacy 650 and one Lineage 1000.
With Embraer delivering 41 executive jets in the first half of 2013, and historically, performing better in the second half of the year, the Brazilian manufacturer looks to be on track to deliver in excess of 90 business jets throughout 2013, as was forecasted by Corporate Jet Investor in May.
