Elliott Aviation offers avionics upgrade to Hawker jet operators

Elliott Aviation announces the installation of a Honeywell Primus Epic CDS/R Phase V and NZ-2010 WAAS FMS upgrade in a Hawker 800XP.

Elliott Aviation of Moline, IL will attain the supplemental type certificate for the Flight Management System 6.1 version 03040 with Epic CDS/R and the Legacy SPZ-8000 EFIS. In addition to the Honeywell installations, the aircraft will receive a 48 month inspection, full paint, full interior and structural inspections. The retrofit also reduces the weight of the aircraft an average of 50 pounds.
Mark Wilken, director of avionics sales a Elloitt Aviation said: “As the only independent Hawker authorised service centre East of the Rocky Mountains it is important to offer an avionics solution that is practical and will allow these aircraft to fly indefinitely.”
“The combination of the Epic CDS/R and NZ-2010 6.1 provides the best solution available for Hawker operators,” Wilken added.
Elliott Aviation are attending the 2013 NBAA convention in Las Vegas and will have a Honeywell Primus Epic CDS/R demonstration unit on display at their stand.
