Passengers travelling on easyJet from London’s Luton Airport will now be able to check-in for their flight using the Signature Flight Support facilities.

Passengers using the service will be able to use the FBO as if they were flying on a private jet, with full access the facility’s customs, immigration and security screening, as well as the lounges and refreshments.

Passengers will then be able to board the aircraft when they want, with a luxury car taking them directly from the lounge to the aircraft, with all luggage being taken care of in this way as well.

“While easyJet will always be famous for our low fares and fantastic on board service, for some passengers this a chance to combine those things with a VIP experience for their loved ones and we think it will be particularly popular for those celebrating a milestone birthday, anniversary or other special occasion or for those travelling on business.” said Andrew Middleton, head of ancillary revenue, easyJet.

The service, which costs £475 for the first passenger and an additional £120 for any additional passengers on the same booking, comes under Signature’s ELITE class offerings.

“We are pleased to extend this extraordinary customer experience to our newly inaugurated ultra-luxury terminal at London Luton. Customers can now enjoy an elite experience normally only available to those utilising private aircraft.” said Evie Freeman, managing director for Signature Flight Support Europe, Middle East and Africa. “It provides a truly unique experience and our staff can accommodate all passengers’ needs in a world-class manner. Signature ELITE Class has been extremely successful at London Gatwick Airport and we are excited to bring luxury back to commercial air travel. We look to continue to expand Signature ELITE Class services to additional airports in the future.”
