Lincoln, Neb — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce it will open a Satellite Avionics Shop in Bedford, Mass., in early August. The shop will be located in the Jet Aviation hangar and has ramp access on the Laurence G Hanscom Field. The new Bedford Satellite Avionics Shop will be a reasonable drive from downtown Boston, making it an attractive option for aircraft owners and operators headquartered in or visiting the area.

“We’re excited to make more of our skilled technicians and Duncan Aviation experience available to our customers along the northern Atlantic seaboard,” says Manager of Satellite Operations, Matt Nelson. “We’ve been asked for years to have a greater presence in the area, and we’re quite pleased to position our new shop in Jet Aviation’s spacious facility.”

Duncan Aviation customers in the area are well-served by Regional Manager Vincent Antignani, and the new Satellite Avionics Shop demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to them. Customers in the area who have not yet updated their aircraft ahead of the FAA’s January 1, 2020, mandate deadline for Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) could schedule the installation in their own hangar with one of the technicians at the new satellite facility.

“Jet Aviation is pleased to welcome Duncan’s Satellite Avionics Shop at our Bedford Mass locaction,” said John Langevin, vice president, FBO Operations, North America. “It provides another great level of service at our recently-renovated location that includes our new two-story, 30,000 square-foot FBO and our new, 40,000 square-foot hangar with upgraded services for tenant and transient FBO customers.”

“We’ve successfully established the Duncan Aviation culture at 27 other Satellite Avionics facilities over the last 30 years, and we’re confident this location will proudly serve Duncan Aviation’s customers in the manner to which they have become accustomed,” says Nelson.
