Deer Jet has signed a cooperation deal with Honeywell that will see the Chinese operator become the first authorised APU service centre on the Chinese mainland.

The deal will not only covers Chinese registered aircraft, but also any other aircraft visiting the country.

Previously, Chinese operators and visiting aircraft that needed work on their APUs would have had to call an out of country mobile team, or fly out of the country to Hong Kong or Singapore.

“Deer Jet is always dedicated to bringing more value-added services to business jet users, owners and operators by partnering with worldwide service solution providers. Honeywell has a strong reputation in developing and maintaining world-class APUs,” said president of Deer Jet Zhang Peng.

“The in-country APU line maintenance capability will deliver significant benefits to the user, business and general aviation market in China and help support China as it rises in the global value chain.”
