Bombardier opens line maintenance station in Sydney

The Sydney station joins Bombardier’s existing Australian network.
Bombardier has added a Line Maintenance Station in Sydney, Australia, bringing its worldwide line maintenance presence to 11 locations.
The station will support Aircraft on Ground events, unscheduled line maintenance and select scheduled maintenance, including inspections, and its technicians are certified to service all Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft.
It is equipped with a Mobile Response Team truck to support customers elsewhere in the region.
The Sydney station joins Bombardier’s existing Australian network, which includes a line maintenance station in Perth and a service centre in Melbourne. Bombardier also operates service centres in Singapore and Tianjin, China.
“Being number one in customer support is something we’re proud of, but staying number one means never standing still,” said Paul Sislian, executive vice president, Aircraft Sales and Bombardier Aftermarket Services. “Our new Sydney Line Maintenance Station delivers on that promise, bringing Bombardier expertise even closer to our customers while advancing our continued investment in Australia and across the Asia-Pacific region.”
Earlier this year, Bombardier announced an expansion of its Singapore Service Centre, which is expected to nearly double in size when it opens in the second half of 2028.
The site will offer scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, avionics installations and 24/7 AOG support, along with a new Component Repair and Overhaul workshop.
