BBA Aviation appoints Mary Miller VP industry and government affairs

Mary Miller has been appointed vice president US industry and government affairs at BBA Aviation the flight support and business jet maintenance and parts company.

She joined BBA division Signature Flight Support in 1992 following the merger of Butler Aviation and Page Avjet. 

“We are delighted that Mary will be taking on this new challenge for BBA Aviation. The creation of this role reflects the Group’s on-going commitment to supporting the advancement of the aviation industry and ensuring that our businesses are contributing to and aligned with industry developments,” said Simon Pryce, group chief executive of BBA Aviation.

Miller will report will report to Michael Scheeringa, president of Signature Flight Support. and work closely with Iain Simm, group general counsel. She will be based at Signature’s Washington FBO.

BBA Aviation three flight support businesses – Signature Flight Support, ASIG and Executive Beechcraft – focused on the re-fuelling and ground handling of business and commercial aircraft.  Its repair and maintenance businesses consist of Dallas Airmotive, Premier Turbines, H&S Aviation, International Turbine Service, Barrett Turbine Engine Company, APPH, Ontic, Legacy Support Houston and International Governor Services.
