Air Independence will display two newly refurbished Bombardier Challenger 604s at this years’ European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (EBACE)

Based in Munich Germany, the company operates a small fleet of Challenger 604s that the company refurbished themselves.

This completion work lead to the company winning a contract to refurbish a Bombardier Global family aircraft.

The fleet also includes a King Air 350i.

As well as operating and refurbishing aircraft the company is keen to expand on its management business.

“We keep our business smart and simple. Our strategy is to grow slow and steady – we don’t want to grow on any price. Aircraft management is one example. You can compare our customers with members of a club – we’re a “club-airline”. said Thomas Haffa, CEO, Air Independence. “Our members are extremely successful business men, people who can afford to own a jet. Of course, they need to monitor their expenses. Therefore Air Independence maintains the costs on a reasonable level and provides the freedom to fly private anywhere at any time.”
