Airbus Corporate Jet Centre has been approved by EASA as a continuous airworthiness management organisation (CAMO), offering ACJ customers a complementary expertise as a VIP maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) centre.

This new EASA Part M approval enables ACJC to manage continuous airworthiness services on Airbus ACJ320 family aircraft (ACJ318, ACJ319, ACJ320, ACJ321).

“As a VIP outfitting centre and MRO, we are now able to offer our ACJ customers a complete CAMO service for their Airbus corporate jets, providing them a smooth transition between the completion phase and in service operations”, says Jérôme Ferasin, head of Services Sales.

As a fully owned subsidiary of Airbus, Airbus Corporate Jet Centre is certificated to perform Part 145 maintenance on the full Airbus corporate jet family under EASA approval, and a growing number of foreign authorities’ approvals – including those of Aruba, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine and, recently, Russia.

“In obtaining this CAMO approval at very short notice, ACJC once again has shown its ability to respond to the needs of its clients which appreciate having this expertise from us as the unique specialist in ACJ cabin completion and MRO services on the market”, points out Benoit Defforge, CEO of the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre. “We are already on the point of obtaining CAMO certification from foreign aviation authorities such as the Cayman Islands and Saudi Arabia”, he adds.

“In addition, as an ACJ specialist fully supported by our parent company Airbus, we are best placed to provide maintenance programmes, tailored and dedicated to the specific operations of our ACJ customers,” Defforge concludes.
