5X5 partners with Citation Jet Pilots Association
Direct-to-consumer insurance provider 5X5 Aviation Insurance has partnered with the Citation Jet Pilots Association (CJP) to give members access to coverage options, discounts and insurance that recognises participation in CJP’s Gold Standard Safety Award.
“At 5X5, we built an insurance company around the idea that safer pilots deserve better coverage and preferred underwriting,” said Troy Kopischke, CEO and Founder of 5X5 Aviation Insurance. “Partnering with CJP is a natural fit — their members are among the most safety-focused pilots in the world, and this collaboration allows us to reward that commitment directly.”
Exclusive benefits for CJP members include 5% savings for all CJP members, with opportunities to increase that to 10% with additional training or data sharing. Gold Standard Safety Award recipients can receive additional savings for a total discount of up to 20%. Members also have the ability to choose policies that best match their aircraft use, training commitment and risk profile.

5X5 is currently authorised to write policies in more than 29 states and expects to soon expand to all 48 contiguous states.
The firm launched direct-to-customer coverage to aircraft owners and pilots in September 2025, focusing on light jets and turboprops like the Cessna Citation, TBM, Piper M-series, Beechcraft King Air and others, as well as modern in-production piston singles and twins from Cirrus, Diamond, Cessna and others.
