The Falcon 2000 made its first flight in March 1993 in Bordeaux-Merignac (France) and, since its certification, Dassault has delivered nearly 500 Falcon 2000s worldwide.

Dassault marked the aircraft’s 20th anniversary at the Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2013, where the company presented its range of business jets including the next generation Falcon 2000LXS, due to enter into service in 2014.

Since the original design, there have been six versions of the Falcon 2000.

“The Falcon 2000 family of business jets has been a long-lasting success because of its cabin amenities, superior fuel efficiency and high retained value,” said John Rosanvallon, president and CEO of Dassault Falcon.

The new Falcon 2000LXS will have a range of 4,000 nautical miles and will have the next-generation EASy II flight deck and FalconCabin HD+ cabin mangement system.
