Cat’s love and involvement in aviation was not only rich, but also well-proven before the age of 18. Joining the Air Training Corps at 13 years old, Cat’s flying experience began with military aircraft, including Hercules, Nimrods and Chinooks. At 15, Cat won a competitive gliding scholarship, and by 16 could fly flex-wing microlights (happily accommodated by a weekend job at a local aerodrome that paid in microlight lessons). Remaining in Dubai, Cat joined Vertis Aviation in 2013, starting out as the General Manager of the Middle East and quickly being promoted to Chief Commercial Officer and then Chief

BBGA Annual Conference and AGM
2nd March 2023
Leonardo St Paul’s Hotel, London
All day Event with Evening Reception
The Theme is Flying Into a New Era of Aviation
The conference will look to examine the perception of Business Aviation and how to address its image. Business Aviation will evolve into a sustainable future with the use of new technologies as will rotary, unmanned and scheduled aviation. The conference will debate the need for a closer relationship with the different sectors of aviation. As the aviation industry grows so does the demand for a trained workforce.
The conference will scrutinise future training requirements for pilots and crew, current demands for engineers and training for young/new entrants. Lastly, the event will reflect on 2022 and how the industry responded to a once in a lifetime mass royal event. Are there lessons to be learnt and what worked well?
