Magnifica Air, the startup airline positioning itself between commercial first class and private aviation, will return to NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas this month as part of a broader recruitment drive, one year after making its public debut at the same event.

The company’s first Airbus A220-300 is now in production, moving its Private Class concept – which combines scheduled service with private aviation-style privacy and personalisation – from concept into build.

Magnifica Air is recruiting across flight and ground operations, technical and maintenance, guest experience and corporate functions, all based in Orlando, Florida.

The NBAA appearance on October 20 to 22 follows participation at the Military Influencer Conference hiring fair in Tampa on September 26 and RTAG in Orlando on October 17 to 18, reflecting the company’s interest in attracting veterans and military-connected aviation professionals to civilian roles.

Co-founded by Charles and Stacey Carey and Wade Black, Magnifica Air has assembled a leadership team spanning commercial and private aviation. Black brings more than 35 years of industry experience, while chief development officer Sean McGeough has held senior roles at Airbus Corporate Jets, Nextant and Hawker Beechcraft.

The company said joining at this stage gives employees the opportunity to shape the airline’s standards, systems and service from the ground up.
