Navair adds Pilatus PC-24 for charter following CASA approval

Navair has a newly arrived Pilatus PC-24 available for charter after it received approval from Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
The only aircraft of its type currently available for charter in New South Wales, the introduction of the PC-24 is a milestone for the Australian-owned Navair, expanding access to regional and remote destinations that are typically beyond the reach of conventional business jets.
Rick Pegus, CEO of Navair, said the arrival of the aircraft and CASA approval represented an important step forward for the business and its customers.
“The PC-24 is one of the most exciting aircraft to enter the Australian charter market in recent years because it fundamentally changes where and how business jets can operate,” Pegus said.
“Australia presents unique aviation challenges because of the distances involved and the number of regional and remote destinations people need to access. The PC-24 gives clients the ability to travel more directly and efficiently, while also accessing locations that many traditional business jets simply can’t reach, all without compromising on comfort or performance.”
Known as the ‘Super Versatile Jet’, the PC-24 combines the speed and comfort of a light business jet with the ability to operate from shorter runways. For Australian travellers, the aircraft’s capability enables more direct access between major cities and regional destinations such as Sydney to Darwin or Adelaide to Perth in one flight.
