Aerospace Media Awards: CJI team shortlisted five times

The Corporate Jet Investor Editorial Team has been shortlisted five times across four categories in the 2026 Aerospace Media Awards. Our shortlisted features probed cyber security aboard business jets, advanced air mobility in China plus air ambulances and more.
“The Aerospace Media Awards have been created to honour journalists and publishers who have made a significant contribution to aerospace journalism and publishing,” according to the organisers. “These are a distinct set of awards celebrating the best in aviation journalism and publishing.”
This year’s awards drew more than 500 nominations. CJI content was shorted listed twice in The Best Business Aviation Submission. The first shortlisted article chartered the rise and rise of Sir Jorge Colindres Marinakis, owner and executive chairman of Aviation Registry Group.
In this feature, Lucky to be registering success, Jorge explains the origins of his Aruba and San Marino aircraft registries and his latest launch – the Gibraltar registry. The article was published in CJI magazine H1 2026.
The second article shortlisted in The Best Business Aviation Submission probed the continued popularity of fractional pioneer NetJets Aviation. The feature, NetJets capitalises on the ‘flight to quality’, included an interview with Patrick Gallagher who leads the company with the world’s largest business jet fleet. The article was published in CJI magazine H2 2025.
From fractional business jet travel to keeping cyber secure while airborne. Our CJI magazine feature, How cyber secure is your jet?, was shortlisted in The Best Aerospace Artificial Intelligence Submission, sponsored by Anduril. Cyber attacks present a growing threat to business jet owners and operators. This feature, published in CJI magazine H1 2026, advised on how to minimise the cyber risks in the cockpit and the cabin.
Casualties of a more practical kind featured in our CJI magazine article Active ageing, active fleets. Shortlisted for The Humanitarian Award, sponsored by The Corporate Angel Network, this article explored the growing demand for air ambulance services in Europe. We spoke to a range of operators to understand how ageing populations are boosting air ambulance flights. The article was published in CJI magazine H1 2026.
Finally, an article about advanced air mobility in China, published on our sister website Revolution.Aero, was included on the shortlist for The Best Advanced Air Mobility Submission sponsored by Joby Aviation. The online feature What’s going on with China? The growth of the low altitude economy explored the development of eVTOLs and other next generation aircraft in the country.
The 2026 Aerospace Media Awards will be presented in London on the evening of Sunday July 19th. Read the full shortlist here.
