Freedom Air expands east coast operations with new fleet at Lantana Airport

The company maintains its West Coast headquarters in Reno, Nevada, alongside its new East Coast base in Florida.
Freedom Air Services, a Nevada-based private aviation company, has launched new private charter operations in South Florida. Beginning May 20th, the company’s new Epic E1000 GX Turboprop aircraft are stationed at Lantana Airport (KLNA), connecting local travellers to destinations across the Eastern Seaboard, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean.
The expansion comes during a period of rapid growth for the company. Within the past year, Freedom Air has expanded its fleet from two aircraft to five to meet rising demand for private flights.
The new South Florida hub at Lantana Airport is located six miles south of Palm Beach International Airport, positioning it to serve clients in Palm Beach, Boca Raton, and Fort Lauderdale.
“We have grown quickly because we do things the right way, and our clients feel that difference from the moment they step on board,” said Joe Chaulklin, CEO and founder of Freedom Air Services. “Bringing brand new Epic E1000 GX Turboprops to South Florida is the next step in that journey.”
The Epic E1000 GX features a carbon fibre airframe and a cruising speed of 333 knots. The aircraft will support on-demand, direct regional flights, with roughly 20 percent of its scheduled routes servicing international destinations like Nassau and St. Barts, alongside domestic hubs like New York and Washington, D.C.
Founded by U.S. Marine Corps veteran Joe Chaulklin, Freedom Air Services specialises in private charter flights, aircraft management, and scenic helicopter tours.
