Flight management services company Avionco said it has completed operational mission supporting entry-into-service (EIS) activities for Bombardier Global 8000.

“Reaching our 25th anniversary is a proud moment for our entire team,” said Josh Dodd, COO at Avionco.

“Over the past quarter-century we’ve had the privilege of working with many of the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers and operators. Supporting the EIS activities for the Global 8000 is an exciting way to celebrate that legacy while continuing to contribute to the future of business aviation.”

Avionco provides suite of flight management services including EIS programme that ensures new aircraft are smoothly transitioned from delivery to operational activation.

The company said it has been selected to assist with EIS operations for the new Bombardier Global 8000 programme.

Avionco sits on the Bombardier advisory board for the global aircraft platform including the 5500/6500 (Chair), and 7500/8000.

As long-term Bombardier EIS providers, Avionco has earned this responsibility having successfully entered into service and supported over 150 of the approximately 250 existing Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft currently operating.

Bombardier’s Global 8000 is the fastest civil aircraft since the Concorde, with an industry-leading top speed of Mach 0.95 (627 miles per hour), a range of 8,000 nautical miles (NM) (16.75 hours), and the lowest cabin altitude in business aviation production of just 2,691 ft., making it the ultimate business aircraft.

The Global 8000 is expected to set new standards in the industry, offering exceptional range, speed approaching Mach 0.95, and the ability to connect distant city pairs such as Singapore to Los Angeles or Dubai to Houston non-stop.

Avionco’s crews and operational specialists help ensure new owners and operators are fully prepared to take advantage of these capabilities from day one.
