Nigel Wright, the Onex managing director, whom led the US$3.3 billion acquisition of Hawker Beechcraft has resigned to become chief of staff to Canada's Prime Minister.
Nigel Wright, the Onex managing director whom led the US$3.3 billion acquisition of Hawker Beechcraft has resigned to become chief-of-staff to Canada’s Prime Minister.
He was a director of Hawker Beechcraft the owner of Hawker Beechcraft Acquisition Company.
A lawyer by training Wright worked as a policy adviser and speech writer for Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney before joining Onex.
In a regulatory filing Hawker Beechcraft said that he resigned on September 24 and will be replaced in October.
