VistaJet has taken delivery of the first two Bombardier Challenger 350 private jets from a June order for up to 40 aircraft.

The two aircraft delivered were 9H-VCA (MSN 20513) and 9H-VCB (MSN 20514).

Both aircraft left the airframer’s Montreal home-base and flew to Shannon, Ireland over the night of September 30.

One aircraft flew later from Shannon to Malta, while the second aircraft made a brief stop at Farnborough.

VistaJet signed an order with Bombardier in June 2013 that could see the Canadian manufacturer deliver 40 Challenger 350s to the operator.

The order, worth a reported $1.035 billion at list prices, included 20 firm orders, and a further 20 options.

As well as allowing VistaJet to expand in its key European markets, the Challenger 350s will be also be used to replace the remaining Bombardier LearJet 60XR aircraft in the fleet.

VistaJet currently operates five LearJet 60XR aircraft, all delivered in the final months of 2011.
