The Affinity Aviation brand was developed through a process led by Sarah Evans, principal, Evans Family Office.

Universal Aviation today rebranded as Affinity Aviation at NBAA-BACE 2026 in Las Vegas. The Evans family will continue to own and lead the company.

The transition from Universal Aviation will be rolled out in phases across the network throughout 2027.

“Affinity represents where we are taking this business next,” said Greg Evans, managing principal, Evans Family Office. “We are building on everything that has made this company successful while pushing ourselves to keep getting better. That means continuing to raise the bar on safety and customer experience, investing in our people and operations, strengthening the locations we already serve, developing new capabilities and expanding general aviation infrastructure where our customers need it.”

The Affinity Aviation brand was developed through a process led by Sarah Evans, principal, Evans Family Office, with input from across the organisation.

“We started by listening – to our customers, our people and the market – and thinking carefully about what we wanted this company to stand for in the future,” said Evans. “Affinity came from the idea that exceptional ground support is personal. It starts with understanding the mission, knowing what matters to the customer and bringing the right people together to make everything work. We wanted to create a brand that feels true to the company people already know, but also sets a clear expectation for where we are going – more connected, more personal and always looking for ways to make the experience better.”

Customers will begin seeing Affinity across the company’s digital channels starting with the launch, followed over time by operational communications, facility signage and uniforms. During the transition, the company said Universal Aviation and Affinity Aviation may appear together in certain locations and industry systems. The phased approach is designed to maintain continuity while progressively deploying the Affinity brand throughout the operation.

Affinity Aviation’s network spans more than 75 locations across more than 20 countries.

In Saudi Arabia, Affinity recently began operations at the new general aviation terminal in Dammam, the first of three operations in the Kingdom. Jeddah will follow with an approximately 108,000sqft private aviation hangar and full-service ground handling operation, while Riyadh will add a private aviation lounge and ground handling operation. A centralised Saudi Arabia Operational Control Center will provide coordinated support across the Kingdom.

In Spain, construction is underway on an approximately 53,800sqft hangar at Madrid-Barajas Airport. It will become Spain’s first dedicated general aviation hangar facility and accommodate aircraft up to BBJ size.

In Mexico, the company worked with local partners to develop and open a major new FBO and hangar complex in Guadalajara ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It is a 362,000sqft facility, including a 51,700sqft general aviation hangar.

Affinity is also undertaking facility upgrades in Milan and Paris and revamping lounge facilities in Venezuela. It also recently expanded in the Dominican Republic, including its newest FBO in Samaná.

Affinity Aviation is in NBAA-BACE 2026 this week at booth 3945.
