Tom Mitchell joins Portsmouth, NH based Essex Aviation Group as executive vice president.

Essex Aviation Group, Inc. (Essex) announces that Tom Mitchell joins their team as executive vice president. Mitchell will be based at their L.G. Hanscom Field, Bedford, Massachusetts location and starts with immediate effect.

Mitchell has nearly 35 years of experience to Essex, specifically in flight operations, technical support, and aircraft management.

Most recently, Mitchell has focused on opportunities to assist clients in optimising all aspects of their aircraft ownership experience, including the aircraft selection process, technical surveys, modification and refurbishment projects, and providing general guidance throughout the entire acquisition process.

Before joining Essex, Mitchell held the position of senior vice president at Aviation Management Systems Inc. He has also held management positions with Liberty Mutual and at senior management level for Jet Aviation.
