The Arizona-based company is offering order reserve slots for the SJ34, valued at $12m.

SyberJet Aircraft said it is set to begin delivering its SJ34 single-pilot light jet in 2029. It also unveiled a full-scale mockup of its latest iteration, SJ36, at NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas on Monday.

The Arizona-based company is offering order reserve slots for the SJ34, valued at $12m. The aircraft is an upgrade on the SJ30-2 featuring SyberVision avionics, larger Williams engines delivering up to 6,400 lbs of thrust in total and a new interior that matches the SJ36. With seven seats, including the pilots, the SJ34 is expected to cruise at up to Mach 0.83, with a range of up to 2,500nm and cabin pressure maintained up to 41,000ft.

Trevor Milton, CEO of SyberJet, said: “Aviation has not seen a real disruption in a long time. We didn’t just show up at NBAA; we showed up having broken the world speed record for light jets by a whopping 48%. We came in with big dreams, and many people doubted our ability to deliver, but I think we did a good job. The full-scale SJ36 mockup represents what the production aircraft is expected to look like. The avionics are world class and may be better than any system on the market.”

The company has opened an early-owner incentive programme it calls SyberJet Passage One, offering the first 250 customers significant discounts. For Passage One members, the SJ34 is listed at a launch price of $10m and the SJ36 is listed at $14m instead of $16m. Members can also access 1,000 hours or five years of aircraft coverage, excluding consumables, as well as access to Williams TAP Blue over the same period. Additionally, SyberJet is offering up to 100,000 gallons of fuel through its Syber Fuel programme. Finally, it is offering two pilot type-rating training slots.

“With the SyberJet Passage One programme, you could save millions of dollars over the competition and never worry about anything but factory support. There is simply no jet like the SyberJet,” said Milton.

As for the SJ36, of which a mockup was on display, SyberJet expects this aircraft to bridge the light and midsize jet markets. It will be able to fly more than 3,000nm at speeds up to Mach 0.88, with the same cabin pressure and climb capability as the SJ34. The aircraft will also have SyberVision avionics and nine seats in total, including pilots. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2032.

The SyberVision avionics system was also on display. It features six 4K touchscreen displays, over-the-air updates and SyberPilot, which the company describes as AI-assisted flight. The system will let pilots connect directly to the aircraft, upload flight plans and control cabin temperature remotely. It will also enable SyberJet to perform remote maintenance and diagnose issues while the aircraft is flying.
