Steve Varsano is the founder of The Jet Business. Corporate Jet Investor tracks his career:

Born in New York he discovers a passion for flying so goes to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

1978 When he graduates he gets his first job working for the General Aviation Manufacturers Association as Manager of Systems Operations.

1980 Moves to aircraft broking working for U.S. Aircraft Sales, first in the company`s research department, tracking and qualifying sales leads then as salesperson.

1985 Then moves to CMI Aircraft Corp. in Michigan as national remarketing manager.

1987 Leaves broking to work for Nelson Peltz’s Triangle Industries – a jet customer of his. He starts off as President of Triangle Aircraft Services, which manages the company’s aircraft, then moves to a variety of roles including Vice President of CJI Industries and vice president of Avery Coal. He gets international exposure as President of the international division of Long John Silver’s and A&W Restaurants. Rises to Senior Vice President and Special Assistant to the President at Triangle Industries.

2003 Becomes senior director, business development for Yum Restaurants International the owners of KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. In this role he negotiated significant franchise deals in Russia, Ukraine and Central and Eastern Europe.

2006 Becomes a financial broker at Cappello Group. Also returns to business jet broking with his own company Atlantis 2000 Group which he actually set up in 1993.

2011 Opens the London showroom
