Spirit Aeronautics, a non-OEM manufacturer of business jet aerostructures based in Columbus, Ohio, has delivered the seventh Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) King Air B300 aircraft.

The company has also taken delivery of its eight aircraft for avionics upgrades and interior refurbishment as part of a 17 aircraft commitment.

Tony Bailey, president of Spirit Aeronautics, said: “We are constantly striving for improvement and the three week early delivery of our seventh aircraft demonstrates our commitment to making our customers happy.”

“The FAA as a customer has been exceptional and we are honored to take receipt of the 8th aircraft for refurbishment. We have been delivering aircraft on-time or early and on-budget consistently year-after-year. That is the Spirit difference!” added Bailey.

Spirit Aeronautics was awarded the contract in December 2010 to complete the upgrade of 17 FAA B300 King Air aircraft.
