Rockwell Collins announced a series of enhancements to its Pro-Line 21 avionics suite for Bombardier aircraft.

The avionics system, which Bombardier will market as Pro Line 21 Advanced, significantly enhances mission performance, increases airport access and enables future airspace operations, and is available on both the recently launched Challenger 350 and the Challenger 300 business jets.

“This is the most capable Pro Line 21 avionics upgrade available, made possible by its flexible architecture,” said Greg Irmen, vice president and general manager, Business and Regional Systems for Rockwell Collins. “The unique missions and range of the Challenger 350 aircraft call for high-value capabilities that are now being implemented to Pro Line 21’s already robust feature set.”

The Pro-Line 21 Advanced will be available to existing Challenger 300 customers as a retrofit option through Bombardier Customer Services.
