Embraer Executive Jets have announced that the FlightSafey International Legacy 650 flight simulator will be ready to begin training in June 2013.

The Legacy 650 simulator is based in the FlightSafety International St Louis learning centre.

“FlightSafety International has been a great partner in pilot, cabin crew and maintenance training for Embraer Executive Jets programs and the first dedicated Level D Legacy 650 simulator is the latest example of that partnership,” said Edson Carlos Mallaco, vice president Customer Support and Services, Embraer Executive Jets. “The simulator has the highest level of fidelity, quality and reliability and illustrates our continuing commitment to meeting customer needs.”

In addition to the Legacy 650, FlightSafety International also provides training for the Lineage 1000 and is scheduled to provide training for both the fly-by-wire Legacy 500, which enters service in 2014, and the fly-by-wire Legacy 450 before it enters service on year later in 2015.
