PrivateFly’s “City Pairs” has been relaunched following a post-lockdown rise in demand for private jet flights as travellers seek winter holidays both in Europe and the Middle East.

City Pairs, first launched in 2019, are route pairings on specified aircraft types with prices fixed and guaranteed, rather than subject to usual market variables. New route pairings from London include winter travel destinations such as Dubai and the Canary Islands.

Adam Twidell, PrivateFly CEO, said: “Following the month-long UK lockdown, we are now seeing a rise in flight demand as we approach the end of the year, with clients heading to a variety of destinations in Europe, and a strong interest in flights to Dubai.

“In a year filled with so much uncertainty, we are happy to be able to offer guaranteed pricing on select routes this winter. Private jet travel continues to have compelling appeal as travellers look to get away in their own bubble, with the least possible exposure to Covid-19. People are still booking at short notice, and we are now starting to see a pent-up demand to travel throughout December and January.

A one-way flight between London and Dubai (in either direction) is priced at £42,100 for whole aircraft charter, on a select fleet of super-midsize private jets – including the Praetor 600. The offer is valid for flights departing on or before January 31st, 2021.

Short-haul European destinations from London include Geneva and Chambery (in either direction), both priced at £14,000 (€15,600), as well as Tenerife or Las Palmas at £29,000 (€32,300) for those looking for warmer temperatures this winter.

These routes are offered on the 13-seater Legacy 600, with a spacious luggage capacity perfect for extended families. The European City Pair rates are available for flights departing on or before December 31st, 2020.

Twidell added: “By committing to volumes on routes that are operationally efficient, we can ensure clients can avoid the uncertainty of private jet charter pricing in the open market – which can vary considerably and increase at peak times when aircraft availability is limited.”
