Private Flight hires Lieff Fischer as chief growth officer

Private Flight has recruited Lieff Fischer as its new chief growth officer.
The aviation technology and in-flight catering company Private Flight has recruited Lieff Fischer as its new chief growth officer. His appointment is designed to support growth across the company’s business lines: Royal and Government services, Fleet, Cabin Crew and Cargo.
Fischer will lead the firm’s global commercial strategy, strengthening customer relationships, expanding Private Flight’s presence in key markets and helping operators increase internal efficiency, improve profitability and deliver great passenger experiences, according to the Swiss-based SaaS company.
“Private and business aviation require absolute reliability and flawless coordination,” said Richard Pryor, CEO of Private Flight. “Strengthening our leadership team is essential to support the continuing growth of our platform’s international footprint.”
Fischer brings the experience in technology, strategy and commercial leadership needed to help more operators benefit from streamlined and more cost-efficient catering operations, he added.
Commenting on his appointment, Fischer said the only way to deliver consistent service in private aviation is through strong, intelligent systems with streamlined workflows. “Our customers are dealing with constant changes, schedule shifts, route variations, passenger preferences and last-minute constraints,” he said.
“With the Catering Management Platform, we help them stay in control, reduce operational workload and make data-driven decisions. Whether for Royal & Government, Fleet, Cabin Crew or Cargo, our mission is to simplify catering operations so operators can focus on delivering great experiences on board.”
Before joining Private Flight, Fischer served with technology company Axetris as director commercial and member of the executive board. He has also held senior management positions with Screening Eagle Technologies in Zurich, Switzerland and with Siemens.
Private aviation continues to evolve as operators, governments, private and business aviation providers face increasing pressure to deliver predictable, cost-controlled, and efficient inflight catering operations, according to the company. “Private Flight’s Catering Management Platform is built precisely for this environment,” it said. The company’s platform connects operators with more than 2,000 approved catering partners, hotels, and restaurants across over 175 countries.
