The Pilatus PC-24 jet was launched at EBACE 2013 in May and a full-size mock-up of the business jet will make its North American debut at this year’s NBAA event in Las Vegas.

“We think the PC-24’s speed, range, cabin size, short-field performance,  cargo door, and price represents a compelling combination unlike  anything else in the business jet market. Given the overwhelming positive response we have heard since EBACE, we are excited to bring the PC-24 mockup to Las Vegas and give our prospective customers an opportunity to see it up close and in person,” said Markus Bucher, CEO of Pilatus Aircraft.

“The prototype PC-24 is currently under construction at Pilatus headquarters in Stans, Switzerland, and is scheduled to make its first flight in late 2014. A total of three aircraft will be used in the flight test program. Certification and first customer deliveries will occur in 2017,” added Bucher.

Pilatus plans to start taking orders for the PC-24, and announce key launch customers, at the EBACE convention in Geneva, Switzerland in May, 2014”, said Oscar Schwenk, chairman of Pilatus Aircraft.

Pilatus will exhibit the PC-24 mockup and a real PC-12 NG at their NBAA exhibit inside the Las Vegas Convention Center.
