Network Rail uses PDG Helicopters specially equipped aircraft to perform aerial surveys
PDG Helicopters enjoys a partnership with Network Rail, providing the maintenance
organisation with special role equipped Eurocopter AS355 helicopters and
experienced pilots.
Network Rail is responsible for maintaining, running and developing the UK’s railway
network, signalling systems, rail bridges, tunnels, level crossings and
viaducts.
PDG Helicopters AS355 helicopters are equipped with high technology camera
systems that are operated by experienced rail personnel, allowing them to
patrol and survey the UK’s
rail network and undertake diagnostic infrastructure inspections.
