NetJets use St Louis Regional
Aircraft divert into Regional after Lambert experiences strong winds and decide to allow only commercial traffic
For two days earlier this week, Lambert St Louis
International Airport
experienced strong crosswinds and a decision was made that Lambert would only
accept commercial airline (FAR121) traffic.
NetJets decided to operate into the city and used St Louis Regional
Airport on the 6 March,
on that day the airport accepted four NetJets aircraft on diversion from Lambert and another ten business jet aircraft on the following day.
St Louis Regional Airport
is a reliever airport, it has two runways, one of 8,100 feet and one of 6,500 feet. The airport is 25 minutes from downtown St Louis.
