JSSI’s Neil Book to represent US at Winter Olympics closing ceremony
JSSI CEO, president and chairman Neil Book has been selected to represent the US at the Olympic Winter Games closing ceremonies in Milan, Italy.
US President Donald Trump announced the presidential delegation to Milan on Tuesday.
“I’m proud to stand with the United States delegation at the Winter Olympics Closing Ceremonies, representing business aviation and honouring the exceptional competitors from around the world,” said Book, reacting to the news.
Led by Linda McMahon, US Secretary of Education, the delegation will be made up of 10 representatives including former US hockey player Ryan Suter, a Winter Olympic Medalist in 2010 and 2014, and US ambassador to Italy and San Marino Tilman J Fertitta.
The party will attend the closing ceremony on February 22nd, 2026.
Book has been at the helm of JSSI since taking over as president and CEO of the aircraft maintenance support and financial services provider in December 2012. Before joining JSSI, Book was president and CEO of SMobile Systems, which sold to Juniper Networks in 2010, where he served as vice president of Mobile Security. He began his career at AT&T, and is a graduate of the University of Delaware.
The US are third in the 2026 Winter Olympics medal table behind Norway (30) and Italy (24) with 20 medals. Including two golds in speed skating and golds in freestyle skiing, alpine skiing and figure skating.
