More than 26,000 people flocked to Orlando last week to attend NBAA 2014, the world’s biggest business aviation convention.

This year’s show featured around 1,100 exhibiting companies in the Orange County Convention Center and close to 100 private jets out on the very hot tarmac at Orlando Executive Airport.

It was a relatively quiet event from a news-perspective – Gulfstream launched the G500 and G600 the week before the show, Bombardier launched the Challenger 650 the night before press day – but there was a buzz around the show, as new deals were signed and people talked about an economic recovery for the industry.
