Business aviation financial control company My Sky has got the year off to a flying start, with its inclusion in a list of European countries to watch during 2018.

My Sky has been named as “One to Watch” in Europe by the European Business Awards. The list comprises companies in 34 European countries that have been tipped for success this year.

The company was launched in 2015 and produces a financial controlling and benchmarking tool to help jet owners maximise their investment. Its IT platform collects, digitises, verifies, analyses and stores all the financial information about a jet and gives its owner instant access to the data.

It has won a number of awards during the past two years, including Company of the Year (Aviation) in the ACQ5 Global Awards during 2017 and a Sapphire Pegasus Business Aviation Award for Innovation in 2016.

Christopher Marich, My Sky co-founder and global strategy director, said: “It is a great honour for our team to be recognised by Europe’s largest cross-sector business competition as one of the best in Europe. Such a recognition gives us the motivation to go further in our developments to make the private jet industry a better, more transparent and more efficient place for owners.”

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards, said the Ones to Watch lists aimed to recognise “incredible business success stories” across Europe. He added: “The talent, dedication and innovation at the heart of these companies creates jobs and opportunity, and is what drives their countries’ prosperity. The ‘Ones to Watch’ lists will set a benchmark of success for the European business community.”
