JSSI has opened its Asian headquarters at the Hong Kong International Airport and put in place a team to cover the region.

JSSI, the provider of aircraft maintenance programmes, has opened its Asian headquarters at the Hong Kong International Airport and put in place a team to cover the region.

Earlier this year, JSSI rescued a Global Express client from an AOG situation in mainland China. The first-ever import of one of their BR-710 loaner engines was coordinated by the JSSI technical team and resulted in another satisfied Hong Kong based client.

“We are proud of the early success in China, and we look forward to delivering this same value to our rapidly growing customer base throughout Asia,” stated Neil Book,co-president for JSSI. “This is an exciting market. As the number of business jets in the region grows, we look forward to delivering our unique programs, which provide owners peace of mind. No matter where they fly, if they have a maintenance issue, JSSI will be there.”

The JSSI team in Hong Kong is led by Mark Winzar, veteran JSSI technical services manager and business development director, Robin Tozer, newly appointed technical services representative, and Jacquelyn Lau, the client services specialist for the new Hong Kong office.

Mark Winzar joined JSSI in 2010 and has been based in Farnborough at the JSSI European headquarters. Winzar will now lead business development efforts throughout the region.

Robin Tozer joins JSSI with more than 20 years of aircraft engineer and maintenance experience throughout Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Tozer came to JSSI from Hongkong Jet, where he was director of engineering.

Jacquelyn Lau has also joined the new JSSI Hong Kong office. Lau’s recent experience as a fleet services officer involved assisting with the delivery process of corporate jets, including making sure all required certificates were in place and regulations met. Lau is a graduate of Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada and has excellent command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin languages.

“We are excited about the team we have put together to support the opportunities in the Asian market,” commented Tim Coggin, managing director of JSSI EMEAA. “We are in a global business environment, so it is important that we continue to expand our presence worldwide and provide our clients with the best service in the industry.”
