Although no further details about the G650 are currently known, this will be the second G650 business jet that Jet Aviation manage from Hong Kong.

The first, msn 6025 / VP-CZZ, was delivered in June 2013 to Golix Investments.

If like the first G650 the new G650 is registered in the Cayman Islands (VP-C), then the aircraft won’t be available for charter as one of the conditions of registration on the Caribbean islands prohibits this.

Jet Aviation’s Hong Kong fleet has been rapidly expanding since the first three aircraft came under management in 2009, and will include 27 aircraft once the new G650 is delivered.

“Five years ago we had a fleet of three aircraft; today we manage 27,” says Iris Riesen, managing director
of Jet Aviation’s aircraft management and charter division in Hong Kong. “We are fully committed to
providing the highest quality service and this fleet expansion demonstrates our dedication and ability to
meet the expectations of our discerning clients.”

2014 has been a slow year for Gulfstream G650 deliveries, with the Savannah-based airframer only delivering 3 aircraft by the middle of February.
