Jay Z contributes to JetSmarter $20 million series B investment

Jay Z might be down to 98 problems after investing in US private jet booking platform JetSmarter.

According an article on Business Insider, the US rapper is one of the investor’s who helped raise $20 million in a B series funding round.

The same article also states that other investor’s include executives from Goldman Sachs and Twitter, as well as members of the Saudi Royal Family.

His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdullaziz Al Saud said, “We are thrilled to be an investor and are committed to JetSmarter’s growth. At the forefront of this new era in travel, we believe that JetSmarter’s proprietary services and offerings have, and will continue to revolutionize the industry.”

JetSmarter says that the funding will be used for technology upgrades, as well supporting the company’s global expansion plans.
