A HondaJet takes-off.

Honda Aircraft will showcase the HondaJet at the NBAA 2013 convention, where a full-sized mock-up of the business jet will be displayed on the company’s exhibition stand in the Las Vegas convention centre.

Honda will also have, for the first time at the NBAA, an FAA-conforming HondaJet business aircraft in the static display at the Henderson Executive Airport, which will be available for viewing over the full three days of the convention running from 22-24 October.

The company’s third and fifth FAA-conforming business jets were the stars of the show at this year’s EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, where two HondaJets – one red and one blue – closed the first day of the world’s largest annual aviation event.

The HondaJet is expected to achieve FAA certification by the end of 2014. The aircraft will cost $4.5 million and can carry up to six passengers.
