Honda ties with TAS for Southeast Asia HondaJet sales
Honda has formed a partnership with with Thai Aerospace Services (TAS) to begin selling the HondaJet in Southeast Asia.
Honda Aircraft Company’s CEO Michimasa Fujino took the decision to begin selling the aircraft in the region following the Asian debut of the aircraft at the Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE).
“Following a strong introduction of the HondaJet at ABACE 2017 and significant interest from customers about owning a HondaJet, we are beginning aircraft sales in Southeast Asia,” said Fujino. “We see great potential for the HondaJet in Southeast Asia, one of the world’s fastest growing regions.”
The partnership between Honda and TAS has created a new company called HondaJet Southeast Asia, with TAS providing sales and support for customers in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam.
