Hawker Beechcraft EMEA celebrates 80 years of Beech aircraft

The Hawarden facility hosts a piston fly-in to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Beechcraft part of the company.

Baron G58 at HarwardenHawker Beechcraft EMEA celebrated Beech aircraft’s 80th anniversary with
a piston fly-in and presentation held inside the Hawarden Air Services
hangar, North Wales, on Friday 7 September 2012.

The company invited current Bonanza and Baron owners to the event.

During
the morning, a number of speakers gave presentations, from the
attributes of the new Bonanza G36 Bonanza and G58 Baron with the new
glass cockpit to the legal processes needed to purchase an aircraft.

Hawker
Beechcraft had taken over part of the hangar and had on display a
single-engined vintage Beech C23 Sundowner and two of its most modern
aircraft, a King Air C90GTx and a King Air 250 inside.

Guests
were encouraged to take a look inside the aircraft to experience the
luxury that the top of the range Beechcraft have to offer. Hawker
Beechcraft partners, Rolls-Royce, Garmin and Gama Aviation were also
displaying inside the hangar.

During the day, Hawker Beechcraft
gave the pilots and guests an opportunity to experience the new glass
cockpit Bonanza and Baron aircraft with flights over the North Wales
coast.
