Celebrating its fifth anniversary, Haute Aviation has taken delivery of the world’s first commercially registered Pilatus PC-12 Pro.

Amongst other new features, the PC-12 Pro includes a Garmin G3000 Prime avionics suite with touchscreens (see below image) and advanced Garmin safety features like Autoland, Smart Glide and electronic stability.

“From the beginning, our vision was to bring Swiss precision, discretion and innovation into private aviation,” said Alexander Tamagni, CEO and co-founder of Haute Aviation. “Becoming the first Swiss operator of a commercial PC-12 NGX was an important milestone. Now, celebrating our anniversary with the world’s first commercial PC-12 Pro reflects our continued drive to push boundaries and set new standards.”

The arrival of the PC-12 Pro follows Haute Aviation’s role in becoming the first Swiss operator of a commercial PC-12 NGX.

Founded in 2020, Haute Avation has two aircraft homebases located in Gstaad and Zurich. The company specialises in corporate jet and helicopter charter and aircraft management.

In mid-August, Pilatus said that it was “temporarily” halting deliveries of its PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft to the US because of the tariffs. President Donald Trump hit Swiss exports to the US with a 39% tariff. Only Syria, Laos and Myanmar have higher tariffs.

“The new customs tariff imposed by the US authorities represents a significant competitive disadvantage for Pilatus. In the short term, the tariff will lead to a temporary halt in deliveries and thus to a temporary interruption of US business,” said Pilatus at the time.
