FlightSafety International appoints Scott Politte at Wichita East learning center

Scott Politte of FlightSafety International Wichita East

FlightSafety has named Scott Politte as assistant manager of the company’s Wichita East learning centre, succeeding the retiring Russ Axtell.

Daniel MacLellan, vice president, operations, said: “Scott has the experience and expertise in training, as well as the management skills and extensive understanding of customer needs required to help lead and support our teammates at the Wichita East Center.

“We are confident that Scott will continue the excellent work done by Russ Axtell, and that our customers will appreciate and benefit from his experience and commitment to excellence.”

Scott joined FlightSafety in 2006 as a product marketing manager. Most recently, he was assistant director of training at the Wichita East learning center in 2012.

The Wichita East learning center offers 19 simulators for Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker aircraft. They are used to provide training for the Beechcraft Baron, Bonanza, 400A, King Air B200, C90, C200, 350 and Premiere 1A; Cessna Caravan, Citation CJ4, CJ3, M2 and Mustang; as well as Hawker 4000, 4000XP, 800XP, and 900XP aircraft.

“During his 16 years with FlightSafety, Russ continuously strived to exceed customer expectations by providing the highest quality training tailored to their specific needs,” added MacLellan.

“He is well recognised for helping our customers to achieve and maintain proficiency and for the encouragement and guidance he provided to his teammates. All of us thank Russ for his contributions, and wish him the very best.”
