The Dassault Falcon 8X has made its NBAA debut.

  • Falcon 8X makes public debut at Paris Air Show
  • Aircraft number 6 / F-WWQF derparted Bordeaux on Friday and spent Saturday at the company’s US completion centre. It then flew onto Las Vegas Henderson Executive Airport, where it will join Dassault’s other aircraft in the static display.

Following completion of the show the aircraft will fly back to Little Rock for interior outfitting.

It will join two earlier aircraft that have been at the company’s US completion centre for several months.

Dassault say that the first customer Falcon 8X, aircraft number four, will be delivered to its customer in 2016.

“We are extremely satisfied with the way the 8X program is progressing. Aircraft flight performance, notably long range capability, has fully met design targets and production ramp up has proceeded smoothly,” said Eric Trappier, chairman and CEO Dassault Aviation . “We anticipate certification by mid-2016, on schedule, with initial deliveries to follow in the second half of the year.”
