Embraer and ABS Jets partner during Winter Olympics

ABS Jets ready in Sochi

Embraer and ABS Jets will jointly provide maintenance for all types of Embraer aircraft flying into Sochi for the Winter Olympics.

A maintenance team will be on 24/7 standby to provide immediate technical support and when needed, ABS Jets can fly in spare parts from Prague or Moscow.

“A special maintenance team in cooperation with Jet Flight Service, our partner in Russia will be ready for action 24/7 from 4 -27 February 4th to 27,“ said Thierry Barre, technical director of ABS Jets.

“To complement the operation, enhancements have been made to the Embraer-owned spare parts stocks located both in Moscow and Prague, which can be flown to location through ABS Jets,” added Barre.

Besides at Sochi International Airport, the services may also be provided in Krasnodar and Anapa, both of which will serve as relief airfields to the main airport. Engineers will be speaking English, Russian as well as the local Ossian language.

“This partnership with Embraer is part of a longlasting cooperation and we are very excited about this joint venture at the Winter Olympics,“ says Vladimir Petak, CEO of ABS Jets. “We are an authorised Embraer Executive Jets Service Centre for all types of their aircraft, more than half of our jet fleet are Embraer. This partnership is another opportunity to show our customers that together we stand strong in every way.”
