Comlux Tech has just launched as part of the group’s expansion of after-sales services. The new organisation will provide support across the group including its aviation, completions and transactional divisions.

Comlux Tech will be deployed into four main activities. Technical Services will focus on avionics and cabin upgrades to line and base maintenance — including an AOG (aircraft on ground) recovery team.

Operational Services will source fuel, look after ground handling, hangarage, sub-charter management and warranty administration insurance handling.

Consulting Services will focus on aircraft selection, appraisals, pre-purchase inspections and entry into service support.

Finally, Crew Services will cover sourcing and training of flight crew, cabin crew, and flight support engineers.

Richard Gaona, executive chairman and CEO, Comlux Group said: “Our goal is to develop further the synergies between Comlux Aviation Operations, Comlux Transaction expertise and Comlux Completion know-how in VIP cabin engineering and craftmanship and to make available our experience to our ACJ and BBJ. I am supporting in full Andrea Zanetto, COO [chief operating officer] of Comlux, who shall implement and lead the Comlux Tech organisation within our group.”

Comlux Tech’s launch has been aligned with the ACJTwoTwenty, which is due to enter service in early 2023 with Comlux Aviation and the launch of a refurbishment hangar at Dubai airport.
