Comlux America breaks ground on new hangar

Comlux America has broken ground on a new wide-body aircraft hangar, which is scheduled to be completed by the start of the fourth quarter of 2015.

Comlux America signed a contract for an Airbus A330 at the MEBA 2014, its first wide-body completion and the ninth interior completion for Comlux America overall. The new hangar expansion, will include an extension to the existing facility, which was first inaugurated in 2012. The expansion will take approximately six months to complete.

Richard Gaona, chairman and CEO of Comlux the Aviation Group, said: “We are now capable of doing any type of narrow or wide body completions, making us an even stronger player in the industry and on an equal playing field with our biggest competitors.”
