Lanseria-based Comair Flight Services (CFS) has been awarded an ARGUS Gold Rating. CFS is only the third South African charter operators to be awarded an ARGUS Rating.

The company is expanding operations to include a second charter base at OR Tambo International Airport.

Justin Reeves, CEO of Comair Flight Services, said: “Our charter fleet has doubled in size since 2012 and now boasts 18 aircraft, with more exciting additions to follow in the next month. Our success thus far can be attributed to four simple components: impeccable client service, modern and well maintained aircraft, a strong focus on safety and highly competitive charter rates.”

“We recently opened a second charter base at OR Tambo International Airport with sufficient covered vehicle parking bays and a passenger lounge large enough to accommodate 70 passengers, which has been very well received by our clients. Fuel at OR Tambo is between 20 per cent and 25 per cent cheaper than at neighbouring airports, which is a saving that we pass directly onto our clients,” added Reeves.

CFS was established in 2007 and now has both single and twin engine urboprops and business jets available for charter.
