Clay Lacy celebrates opening of maintenance facility at Waterbury-Oxford Airport
Oxford, CT, April 18, 2018 – Clay Lacy Aviation hosted an open house and lunch on April 4 to celebrate the opening of the company’s 65,000-square-foot aircraft maintenance facility at Waterbury-Oxford Airport in Oxford, Connecticut.
Staffed by factory trained technicians on Gulfstream, Bombardier, Dassault, Cessna and Hawker airframes, the facility offers light line maintenance for engine and airframe, avionics troubleshooting and repairs, and minor interior updates and reconditioning. The process for FAA Part 145 repair station certification is underway and approval is expected later this year.
“We were delighted to meet with friends and industry peers from this airport and the surrounding area, introduce our maintenance team and provide tours of our new facility,” said Malcolm MacKenzie, Operations Manager with Clay Lacy. “Our East Coast team, maintenance capabilities and tooling have expanded steadily over the past two years, and we are proud to provide exceptional support to local operators throughout the Northeastern US.”
