CJI wins Aerospace Media Award for Best Business Aviation Submission

Corporate Jet Investor has won The Best Business Aviation Submission in the 2026 Aerospace Media Awards. The winning feature article – published in CJI H2 2025 – profiled fractional operator NetJets under the leadership of president Patrick Gallagher.

The feature probes NetJets’ market leadership and plans for growth. Gallagher charts the company’s rise from its modest beginnings as Executive Jet Aviation with a fleet of 10 Learjet 23s. Now, over 60 years later, NetJets has active fleet of more than 1,000 aircraft across three operating companies – triple the size of its nearest rival Flexjet.

“We have been very fortunate to have a market that has been favourable to our industry,” Gallagher told us. “NetJets in particular has seen considerable growth in our shared ownership programme. Pioneered decades ago, fractional continues to resonate with the market.”

Moreover, the subject matter has been impressively diverse and well executed, gifting us with quality and quantity.” He went on to add: “ … all shortlisted nominees tonight should consider themselves winners with the top prize given for best of the best”.
